Okay, I know it's been a lifetime since my last blog entry. What can I say? I've not been writing much lately, the whole process came to a grinding hault. Not for lack of inspiration, not due to writer's block. Nothing so dramatic. I just didn't feel like writing.

I never thought I'd get to the end of Chapter 15. The last couple of chapters took a lot longer than I expected. Partly it had to do with the research involved - I had to look into the history of the Algerian civil war, the Algerian education system, refresh my memory about the layout of the Isle of Whithorn in Scotland... but partly it had to do with the fact that parts of these chapters were just difficult to write.
